Quantum Information Technology (QIT) leverages the principles of quantum mechanics, such as superposition and entanglement, to store, transmit, and process information, pushing beyond classical limits in materials science and information technology. Our research focuses on developing innovative methods for spin-based QITs including quantum control, quantum computation/simulation and quantum metrology, and their cross-disciplinary applications spanning fundamental and applied physics, tackling complex computational problems, quantum many-body physics, spin magnetic resonance, and dark matter detection etc.
Ø Spin-based quantum information technologies (quantum control, quantum computation/simulation, quantum metrology)
Ø Atomic physics and quantum optics
Ø Nuclear magnetic resonance and zero and near-zero-field NMR
Ø Quantum probes of fundamental physics: dark matter, exotic spin-dependent interactions
Ø Quantum many physics
